According to data from the Chevening website, Chevening scholars could earn up to a £30,000 (₦12,411,563) annual living allowance while they are in the U.K. Some of the other benefits you may receive as a scholar include: - The Chevening Nigeria Scholarship will cover the following expenses: University tuition, a monthly stipend, transport costs, arrival allowance, a homeward departure allowance, the cost of one visa application, and a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the Uk.


Eligibility Requirements for The Chevening Scholarships for Nigeria

To be eligible for the Nigeria Chevening Scholarships, you must meet the following

requirements:

Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen with a minimum educational qualification of a Bachelor's Degree. Candidates seeking one-year Master's degrees in the relevant subjects at UK universities are eligible for the scholarships.

Be between the ages of 21 and 35 years old and no older than 39 years old at the beginning of the program (i.e., the date of the first course start date). However, if you are applying for a program that is less than one year in length, you may be up to six months older than this age range. - Hold a minimum Second Class Upper Division Bachelor’s degree (END) in any of the following fields: Agriculture, Business, Information and Communications Technology, Engineering, Environment, Education, Public Health or Science. - Have a minimum GPA of 3.7.
